do you mean like party favours with nuts and stuff?
One of my friends is malasian and got married to a pakistani man in july...so if you have any specific questions i can ask her!
She did everything in a very paksitani style though.

was and congratulations. will try and help. First of all, who told you you needed these gift parcels? was it your fiance? If so need to find out more, ask him the indian word for it, as a way of getting into conversation about it - that won't sound silly or anything maybe this might help us suss out what gift parcels are....then lead into a conversation about customs...talk about the malay wedding customs such as gift giving and say what about indian customs. Don't be afraid, I don't think this is a silly question, it shows you care and are interested.
Please also give us any more details you can around any conversation you had about gift parcels. See the thing is it, he could be talking about any of the functions below. For example, did he say for the engagement, the wedding, the henna (called mehndi) party? Did he mention who it was for? Was it for wedding guests, bridegroom.
