Hi Girls ,
My friend and I have been bickering !
She has pear shaped figure ... and wants her wedding lehenga design to be A-Line ... I have seen her wear skirts and they dont suit her that much ...
So I have been insisting that it should be fish tail ... where its fitted at the lower waist and quite frilly from knee onwards ...
and now we are left confused as hell .. thought i might ask you for your feedback ....
One more important question : the dupatta she currently has with the lehenga is very heavy and I doubt its gonna stick in its actual position on her head ! we are thinking of an alternative duppata to go with the lehenga .. something lighter .. which material would you suggest?

I could be wrong but if she's pear shaped (bottom heavy) and it's fitted all along her hips to the knee won't it make her look huge at the thighs? It's a style that really emphasises the hips so is usually better for slim girls with balanced upper and lower body proportions.

Ok well I did some googling and fishtail can be quite nice for pear-shapes but not the fitted til the knee kind. Rather a soft fishtail that is fitted until just below the bum and then flares out.

A line should work better, it floats away from the body and is good for pear shapes.

Stoppit , thats what I had in mind for her , life a soft fishtail ...
Easter, here is where the issue is : the skirts she wears are usually A-line and since she is not heavy at the bust , with too much focus on the bum , she looks out of proportion ... i mean this is what I feel on her .... is my observation wrong?People Look For The Perfect Person To Love But They Fail To Realize That A Person Becomes Perfect When We Begin To Love Them Sincerely..

^no, i think that's probably right. if she's small on top, she will look dumpy unless she's balanced out. you need to make sure they do the fishtail right though, the soft fishtail is quite common in western bridal dresses so maybe find a few photos.
she might want to wear a padded push-up too and do more to make her top half (shoulders and such) appear more in proportion with hips and longer in length.
