Ya as honey said, little candles and rose petals is a nice idea if you cant get hold of flowers...
My hubby booked a hotel room and he had gone in beforehand (without me knowing) to decorate it with rose petals and candles - it was so romantic - *swoons*
Now Scoot!

my room was decorated with candles, rose petals in heart shapes etc and on the furniture such as the dressing table, glass decorations with tea candles and rose petals floating in them and bouquets etc, the lighting was kept dim with the candles and dim bulbs etc, it was absolutely adorable and heavenly
and the alarm clock idea given by sahar , we did that to one of my cousins, and the guy cousins went as far as hiding 6 aralm clocks including the ceiling

u r evil Sahar! But considering how weddings usually go they won't even be in the room by the middle of the night
I loved the room in jodha akbar. I believe they had tube roses and strands of pearls alternating around a round bed if im not mistaken. Very pretty but probably more doable back home. Please stay away from cheesy heart shaped stuff. just use candles and flower petals

If all goes well, they won't even need those alarm clocks.

@ Topic; yes... petals are a good idea; just dont overdo 'em... our neighbours had a heap on the carpet and then a few sprinkled on the bed.... it looked kinda nice but the room got really cold coz of all the flowers

Flowers, candle, and food for snacking are great ideas. Please don't do anything as cheesy as hearts. These are not 11 year old girls, after all.

Unfo theres not too many pics of our room alone, but in teh few pics i have, there were rose petals (fresh I think) on the floor and bedspread and paper lanterns/paper flower thinggy strung up on the headboard of the bed....
We also had a tray of chocolate covered strawberries and a bucket of ice with a bttle of champagne... lol that was just for decorative purposes

Are there some ideas how to decorate the bridal suite?
Is the whole canopy thing with flowers still in style? Any ideas or pictures will be helpful
Thanks
