[QUOTE=saratem314;6624080]if they are coloured then don't wear them... it looks tacky and you don't want to remember yourself in your wedding pictures as someone who wasn't showing her true eye colour.

Yeh ur right!! I also didn't wear coloured lenses...as I already have green coloured eyes!! Alhamdoelillah!! But I think brown coloured eyes are really beautiful!!

i concur, brown eyes are gorgeous.
other natural colors add color and personality to the face, but contacts just dont look right cuz of the big dark artificial pupil in the center. It just looks strange, esp. in such lighting where pupils normally contract.
brown eyes are beautiful. can't beat 'em.

i agree if you're going with the colors, then freshlook brand contacts are the best

nadz....my sincere advise to you is DONT GO for lenses.

1.You don't know what kind of eye makeup will be done on you. My bridal outfit was red and sea green , i got my makeup done from sabs I was expecting sonia to apply a combo of red and golden shades but infact she picked the exact green color from her drawer which freaked me out offcourse but it turned out awesum. Imagine if i was wearing GREEN CONTACTS and having GREEN eye shade how would I be looking ? I dont know ur dress color so think alot before choosing the contact lense shade!

2.The eye makeup of bride is sooo heavy I dont know how u 'll be able to manage contacts . I mean wearing fake eyes lashes is not easy atleast they made me very uncomfortable and i dont think I would have able to bear contacts in addition to the lashes.

3.The photographers themselves put a eye lense image in ur eyes in the pics. atleast hakimsons did that in couple of my pics so dont worry abt ut.

Ok, firstly, your contacts WON'T come out if you cry..... who even suggested that??!!! I wear contacts on a daily basis.... and have cried in them and even slept in them (by accident ofcourse.... when I woke up, got a bit of a shock when I could see everything clearly... thought it was a miracle... haha.. and then realised my contacts were still in my eyes)

Re. coloured contacts.... I wear my green and grey lenses pretty often too... they're by Colourblend.... they don't look fake at all.... it all depends on the company you get your lenses from and how well you can pull them off...
Yep, I love my natural eye colour too (brown ofcourse) but coloured lenses look absolutely great too..
I'm planning on having my natural eye colour for wedding and green for valima....
Nadz, don't wear coloured lenses on both days.... well, unless you want to wear hazel on one day and green on the other.... personally, I think coloured lenses are great.... and who gives a cr*p when pple say "oh you should stick with your natural eyes"..... well, the same can be said about make up..... it's entirely up to the individual what they do.... why others have to comment, I don't know....
Forget everyone Nadz.... do what you want... it's your big day.... you don't want to have any regrets afterwards....

Nadz, I agree with diamond as well , sometimes they appear really wierd in pictures ... I mean you may wanna go for maybe transparent ones if you have a number ...

i wore them on all three functions, mehndi baraat and valima, i have pics wen i can upload them il show u, i wore grey blend which look really natural- lenses make your eyes look bigger and dont look fake if you go for the blends (green blend is very subtle)

my advice is try them on when you go to your trial & on the day if you feel they dont look right just take them out

anyway i think this is a good question and its good you are getting ideas from here because wedding is a big day and everything should be perfect ...well for contact lenses than it depends on many thing...ur make up, your dress, etc....well what you do wear a colour which suits you...if you have a green shade in your lehenga than dont wear green....or what you can do get 2 or 3 colours and once your make up and everything is done than you can try and see which suits you

thankyou

thanks guys for all your help.....i shall take it on board.....and pls do post any pics or pm me.....thanks

Snobish

To wear contact lenses as the bride = a definite no no.

Else, go wild.

i agree with some of the above posters...contacts maybe an overkill..
youve got makeup..false lashes...contacts..etc...one cant really focus on the real thing -- the eyes--

Thats what she said.
