the mangni outfit was from them...it looked nice from a distance...but the material was itcy, and velvety and my mangni was in the summer....i did not understand who wears velvet in august..apparently they think it snows all year round in the west...so decided to be safe and buy me something that would protect me in the arctic.

You guys are so lucky u could wear it again. Im the last in my family to get married and so is my husband. My nikah outfit was as heavy as a bridal, with a train and all. And my shaadi and valima are really heavy too. And I don't have that many close single friends left and the one who is already told me I can't wear my outfits to her wedding cuz they're too cute.
So i'll just be wearing it around the house for my husband...reliving our wedding

There's a wedding in my husband's family and I was all exicted to wear my Nikkah outfit again (my husband is wearing his sherwani) until one day when I tried it on and realized that not only it weighs like 50 pounds but has a trail as well. Now if I was just sitting in one place and looking pretty then I don't mind but Im gona be walking around and dancing! And no, I definitely don't want the bride to glare at me for dressing up so much, haha.. it's a pretty heavy jora, I don't think Im gonna be wearing it anytime soon.
