*India has supported numerous Pakistani starving artists and musicians, the ones who were forgotten, unappreciated, and underpaid in their own country.
Spreading hate, and discrimination is not Pakistani style.
Our primary independence was from the British, then India. Yet we buy British goods, watch their films, speak their language, and follow their fashion.

All of that should be the END of this Indian-Pakistani debate in this thread.
Mehrunisa, Im half Paki, half Indian, and I personally know a few Indians on this forum who will not appreciate what you're saying here. So I suggest you either take this to the political forum or not talk about it at all.
This thread is about the Indian designers, we can all go back to discussing that now.
Choose your battles wisely.
Not everyone is worth wasting time over.

i'm not against India or Indians, but astonished to find out so many people rushing to defend them!
there are good and bad people everywhere so lets stick to fashion, be it Indian Korean Pakistani or martian!

i love love love indian fashion! i've been hearing really great things about their customer service for years. i wish that was an area Pakistani designers would work towards improving. making amazing out of this world clothing is one thing, but making the customer feel good is just as important for closing a sale.

Manish Malhotra seems as if he is over rated at times...he has good designs but some of them aren't that worthy of praises...he's just there because he's friends with all the top guns of Bollywood.
PAKISTAN not only means freedom and independence but the Muslim Ideology which has to be preserved, which has come to us as a precious gift and treasure and which, we hope other will share with us. Mohd. Ali Jinnah.

it's true that the attitudes of some of the pakistani designer are in desperate need of a finishing school. while the philosophy of a brand names mostly is built around 100% customer service, cuz you'll be paying ****loads at teh end of the day ...
my friend went to HSY for the bridal wear of her sister ... and they asked the woman over there to SHOW her a particular dress, and she just said "oh that is too expensive for you" ... !!!!! helloooo !!! since when do you say that to ANY customer???
and i was also at HSY once for a meeting with him for his new brochure design for the Dubai show he had (i'm a graphic designer) ... and damn ... young girls all around, he arrived like 30 minutes later with one girl behind him carrying his plate full of cut fruits (strawberries etc!!!) wrapped in cling film ... and then eating it in a seriously weird most-feminine way as possible with a FORK ... ugh .... and just giving orders around ... and anything he would say, the girls around him would just repeat it in chorus!!! "oh i really liked that dress that iv designed" .. "oh hassan that is really so cute, your designs are so amazing ... wow ... yaaa that is sooo pretty" ... uhhh ... hheeeelllllllooooooo ... whats happening here! i have to go home!
and not to mention what a pain in the *** he was with getting the brochure designed ... he couldnt pay enough money to the photographer in dubai and didnt take one along with him from pakistan, and provided us with super mega low res distorted pictures of the show (that's what photographers give you if you dont pay) .... and he wanted an ARMANI or GUCCI look-alike book !!! GOD.
