I think the trend of long shirts over bridal ghararas would be of gr8 advantage as later u can make a pajama or pants wid it and make it a formal dress so the dress can be used .....no?

true, but usually gharara shirts are knee length anyway so you can wear shalwar pants with them. plus i find the normal length gharara shirt is much more flattering overall than the super long ones. you really need to be slim to pull off the longer shirt.

Slightly off-topic here (read as completely off-topic) but yesterday I saw a girl and she was wearing an anarkali dress that was short from the front and long at the back (like a train at the back) the kameez from the front ended right below her knees and from the back it was mid-calf. She was wearing it with capri's and I can't begin to tell u how FAB it looked! It had a sherwani collar with lace running just below the "chest-area" gorgeous!

Some days are a complete waste of make-up!

Last month I've been to Mohsin sons (and the shops adjacent to it) the design is pretty common here... they have dsiplayed it in EVERY shop!

It looks oddbut may be it does work as tashfeen pointed out. I don't think that I can pull off that look with two kids pulling me everywhere.

That is a very clever thing that your designer is going to do for you, MiamisweetheartX. It is practical and you get to enjoy your clothes more.

Nope ziggy wasn't like that... erm I went to mohsin & sons as well last month i've never seen anything like it. Was pretty though!

And oh it wasn't a formal dress, it was a casual outfit in cream and pink and had "kaliyan" at the back..running down.

I think it really depends on the outfit because for some bridal outfits, the long shirts REALLY look so fab and for others, short suits it soo much more. But it definitely is a huge plus, to be able to wear pants or shalwar with your top afterwards as a gorgeous formal outfit! My shirts were unfortunately too small to be worn as a kameez, but sometimes when I see brides with long shirts Im like oh lucky she can totally wear that with a shalwar!

I think long shirts would look good on tall girls but shorter girls should stick with short length shirts...

i dont have any.. They won't let you capture any photograph of any of their suit! But it's ery similar in design as pasted by the member of HSY model... but the stuff is pretty different.. Most of them have them in light fabric (chiffon etc)
