yeah her name is majda she is really good if you book her specifically say you want her to do your makeup because at times shes so busy that her trainees do the makeup on you..if you cant get hold of the number just ask anyone she is well known in mirpur area

Ive been looking through old GS posts and there were quite a few posts earlier in the year from girls getting married in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir this summer.

Just wanted to know if any were still on GS? and if they are willing to share their experiences?

You are quite right. There were many weddings that were going to happen in Mirpur but none responded afterwards.

i think im more worried about my makeup than the actual wedding haha! sounds really vain, but ive seen my cousins wedding films an they all looked like ghosts!!

You know sum makeup artists frm lhr do travel to other cities as I know my cousin had her makeup done frm newlook woman and she flew all the way to bhawalpur few years back. Why don't u try contacting diffrent makeup artists? Maybe they can save frm lookin like "ghostsl" kiddin . Hope it helped alittle

I got married in Mirpur, but i onl went for 2 weeks so i dint get to shop much, i took everything from here, except for footwear i got loads of sandals from metro in mirpur, their gorgeous and i think a lot better than stylo.
as for clothes to be hnest i didnt look at anything in detail but i wasglad i got everything made here.

if you wear short sleeves or sleevesle3ss clothes, your spoilt for choice theres loads of gorgeous things there, but i didnt see one nice outfit with long sleeves.

il try like i said i only went for 2 weeks so didnt see much, and mum arranged eveything before i got there.

I got married in nafees marriage hall, theres an old one and a new one, the new one is nicer.
theres also roopyal wedding hall, theres one in chakswari which i havent seen but the one in mirpur is quite new- the outside is quite but i dont know about the inside of it.

arghh my mind gone blank, il ask my mum and reply when i come back form work tonight.
