All the cakes I tried in Pakistan taste like.......well you get the idea. I want to know if it is possible to get something that tastes good. Does anyone know a good place? Can I order it from them and have it delivered?
Thanks guys.

Please mention the city.

Where have u been tasting cakes from in Pakistan? There are sooo many bakeries and they all have delicious cakes.
Check out karachisnob.com for details.
My personal favourite is an old Parsi bakery shop at Clifton called Armeen's. Other good ones are Desserts, Pie in the Sky, Hobnob, Masoom's, Espresso and the Nando's cakes.

Two known bakeries in Lahore are Shezan and Gourmet. There are many locations across Lahore.
If you are getting a cake make sure it is NOT chocolate, they taste terrible in Pakistan. Try to get a vanilla cake with fruit filling.
The mathai from Gourmet is delicious so make sure you try it!!!!!

None of those places sell wedding cakes. From all those listed I would only recommend cheesecake from masoom's and thats definitely not a wedding cake. The only thing the other places are famous for are their chocolate cakes, and that too only because they load their cakes with oily fudge (i personally hate it and never eat cake in pakistan) but anyway none of them sell wedding cakes.
For karachi, I know there are a couple of stores on zamzama that make wedding cake, ive never had them so i dont know how they good they are. i think if ur in khi or even in lhr or isb, if u cant find a ood bakery that does wedding cakes, then go to hotel bakeries, they usually have weddings take place there so often they make wedding cakes.
I'm better than you and you know it. P.S. I purposely made this bright to annoy you.

my brother's valima was at pc and i dont know about taste, but the cake they provided was awful looking, probably the worst and most laughable wedding cake i have seen......they just slapped the bride and groom's initials in the middle so there was a big "HA" taking up the surface of the cake.....ai!
(though, i am not sure how much in advance they were told to come up with one, but still.....)
