wedding or reception.. I think it should be done on the reception but I'm noticing a lot of pakistani weddings have the cake cutting the day of the wedding... any suggestions?

I was contemplating on the same thing.

I thought doing it at the waleema was a bit common.

the last wedding i went to the cake was cut at the wedding. i've also been to quite a few weddings where they had cake on both days

I have been seeing a lot on the wedding day..I donno to me it doesnt seem right maybe I'm too white washed lol I think I'll keep mine for the reception

Almost all weddings i've been to have had it on both days, never heard of it just on one day :/

Even in American weddings, they have the bride cake and the groom cake, so i guess that's why we have it on both days?

I cut mine on the wedding day. You just got married, wouldn't you want to celebrate by cutting the cake? I suppose you could do it on both days as well...
