Hi Guys-
Ok so the Bridal Makeup is AWSOME here in Pak compared to the makeup in the UK
But alot of the MUA's use MAC as their foundation base
Which is better?
I have never seen a Pakistani Bride in real life but in pictures the makeup looks WOW..
I think in the UK Lubna Rafiq uses the TV stick at times (But I refuse to pay 550 for one day just to do my makeup)
So do you guys know any MUA in the UK who use the stick?
And do you guys if the TV stick is better for the base and do you think I should just find an artist who uses that stick or someone who uses MAC?
Like in the UK trend is different right?

Neither of these pictures are the "look it finished with".
They have been processed/airbrushed to extreme. There is no way of telling what the skin looked like in real life or even the pre retouched photo.

The TV stick looks cakey and orange and comes out shiny and weird in photographs, and comes in so few shades that is usually ends up being too light or too dark for your skin. MAC foundation isn't ideal either, it darkens over time once your skin starts to get oily, but it's definitely better than paint stick. The best option IMHO is either airbrush foundation or Make Up Forever HD foundation, both are light, make the skin look flawless and come out great in photos.

Jagnu swears by the TV STICK though?

I have no clue what a tv stick is but for my nikah the beautician used a stick foundation from somewhere in Asia and although initially it looked great but with time and warmth, it melted off and got sticky and shiny.
For my wedding, the MUA used MAC and i thought it got a bit darker over time. So the next day for valima i had her use a lighter shade and it worked out perfectly. And i broke out at my mehendi day but MAC covered up everything. What ever it might have missed, the photogapher fixed it for teh pictures, lol.I love children and old people. Those photos can't really tell you anything because they've been digitally airbrushed, it's pretty obvious. You could wear any foundation and edit the photo on photoshop to make it look like that. Mac would be the last thing I would consider using. It's known for looking cakey, oxidizing (which makes you look darker), and often irritating sensitive or acne prone skin. For flawless coverage and finish you should look into professional grade brands like Graftobian, Kryolan, or Cinema Secrets. These linies have state of the art products used for television and photography makeup and they come in tons of different shades to match your skin tone. I recently started using Graftobian's HD cream foundation and it makes me look amazing even on my worst skin days. Bobbi Brown is also great for color choice and much more accessible. Estee Lauder's famous double wear foundation is great for lasting power and very nice finish, but you have to be careful about getting a good color match. good luck!
