Lets have the usual execuses please...

http://www.gowanusbooks.com/dalit.htm
The Dalits are treated worse than animals. Their presence is usually banned from upper-class localities. Even then they are bound to hang clay pots from their necks so that they may not pollute the streets of the privileged by their spittle. They carry brooms tied to their bodies so that while passing through such 'upper lanes' they can wipe away their footprints.

India's "Untouchables" Face Violence, Discrimination
More than 160 million people in India are considered "Untouchable"—people tainted by their birth into a caste system that deems them impure, less than human.

India Together: Dalits rights and issues: An overview - February 2002
Some recent publications give an idea of the force of the Dalit intellectual movement and they exhibit an intolerance for the continuation of the oppressive system. The provocative tone of the book "Why I am not a Hindu" by Kanchan Illiah is an illustration of the radical thoughts of some Dalit activists. "The caste system that subjugated more than one fifth of the population to levels worse than animals' for more than two millennia and which represented institutionalization of the most heinous inequality …"

How can they call themselves as democratic and cultured when they can not even treat their fellow Indians as human beings.

More then 250 million are living as untouchables in India.

No wonder Dalits and Muslims have a feeling of being non-Indians in Republic of India.

Muslims had a choice to leave India, it's a pity they never did.

The definition of the term 'Muhajir' is 'Immigrant' or someone who migrates from one place to another.

I suppose we're all muhajirs if living out of homeland. But after becoming a citizen, the label is no longer valid because you identify with the nation whose nationality you hold.

So you are implying that Muslims should leave India now or keep on facing the wreath of Hindus. What about Dalits , where do you want to throw them away.

If every Mohajir had assimilated to the Pakistani society so well, why is there a MQM. Why is it still a major force to reckon with.

^They're the only party that runs on the Mohajir slogan, for whatever reason. And they're regional. Other nationalist parties have votebank across the board.

Personally, and i agree with Chintu, once you're born in Pakistan/India, live in Pakistan/India, know everything you know about Pakistan/India, then you are no longer a mohajir. The ancestoral status of migration simply does not apply to all generations.

Typical Indian techniqe....change the topic to irrelevant discussion to avoid embarrassement!.

The topic is how hindus treat their fellow citizens. No where Pakistan is mentioned there in the title.

simple - you have the shia sunni deobandi whabi ahmadi barelvi just to name a few.

you don't call them caste but it is still categorization of people by birth. intermingling amongst these classes and castes are prohibited - you bomb and kill each other!

Atleast the Indian castes, they just didn't touch each other - you guys bomb each other for heavens sake!

Don't tell me you don't know these castes exist in Islam

These are not casts, all religions have their splinter groups be it Jews, muslims or christians but only in hinduism caste system is by birth.

At least get your facts right before arguing.

Just like there are Catholics, Baptist, Lutheran in Christianity there are sunni, and shia in Islam. And all these are not categorized by birth.

Its never Ok to bomb or kill anyone for little/minor difference like difference in faith/sect or religion.

There is no telling or any proof who actually commits these evil crimes.

For centuries different sects have survived under muslim rule including even non-muslims.

Recent phenomenon of blasts by unknown motorcyclists with covered face (just as an example) has nothing to do with Islam or muslims.

The topic is again How badly hindu treat their fellow citizens.

The worst form of caste discrimination is mentioned in post #1.
