The repercussions can be many. And of those many can be seen as 'Conspiracy Theories' depending on who's reading it. But here's what i think is possible now and later:

1. BJP uses this to win sympathy vote and beats the terrorism drum at its loudest and comes in to power. As a result a possible hostile attitude maybe adopted towards the Muslim community in India. (GOP/USA and the War on Terror and how GOP won)

2. Indian splinter groups are behind it and committed this act in order to make their presence be known. Who they are, i'll leave to your specuation.

3. External Intelligence Agencies funded and supported locals to do this, so India too can be drawn into the War on Terror because other active nations are running bone-dry economically while India has enjoyed a rising and healthy economy. 'Share the burden'

4. Mossad/CIA/MI6 have orchestrated and helped in any way to draw tensions between India and Pakistan to cover up the ongoing losses in Afghanistan, and to bring the two nations on the verge of war, so Global Imperial agenda can be furthered. Animosity between India and Pakistan will mean Kashmir can be used as a launch pad for foreign troops under the disguise of 'Peacekeeping force' of some sort. Draw Pakistan's attention away from targetting Militants so US Forces can take broader action and be in more control of the situation.

5. Factions of Indian mujahideen are linked to any group in Pakistan, and the blame lies on Pakistan. India gets the clearance to engage Pakistan while US engages Pakistan via Afghanistan and the country is made subservient to India, or incapable of being a threat.

6. A testimony comes out that indicates that Pakistan was indeed involved in this act, and Indian forces put on their gear. Troops are drawn to the border, bordering villages are attacked with the possibility of a full-blown war. With US and Allied forces at it's western fronts and Indian forces knocking at the eastern border, Pakistan is squeezed to the point of choking. Pakistani President (for the 2nd time, different person though) agrees to whatever India demands and now Pakistan is left to fulfill the needs of US/Nato as well as India. The scrutiny continues. (Not likely to happen or succeed, but a very serious possibility)

Just my view, some are very far fetched. But these are what i see as possibilities.

Nothing will happen. Hindus <EDIT> & its very likely they had something to do with it. They killed that many people by blowing up train & blamed it on Pakistan. Now, it turns out that it was their own army. In any case, nothing is going to change & I think at the end we ill find that Indian groups within India were responsible for it.

BTW, logical question to ask is why would Pakistan knowing start trouble with India when it has its own hands full with jihadies blowing up everything and everywhere. And more importantly, Zardari and PPP govt are going out of their way to please India...would they knowing allow jihadis to do this kinda of stuff?

Also, remember it was PPP govt that gave up Sikh freedom fighters in Punajb & BB even took credit for killing militancy in Indian Punjab.

the accusations on pakistan wont be retracted but the investigation will start arresting numerous indian nationals


next time you hear the word isi it'll be when next bomb goes off

Any claim has to be proven to the world, if the terrorist made call to Karachi it needs to be proved that call actually terminated in Karachi (and not re-routed to Dubai or something). If it turns out that anyone from Pakistan is involved then a "coalition" type legal force should be formulated to join Pakistan in investigation and prosecute those responsible unless Pakistan takes the information from Indian (and world) investigation and produces the culprits for prosecution.

Officially Pakistan has banned all such outfits which were operated in Kashmir and Pakistan doesn't gain anything by doing such crazy stuff in India knowing how much pressure it already is in these days. Let the investigation come out then we can talk about who should do what.

All parties/countries/org involved or blamed are coming up with their own theories and 'Why it can only be them' type of reasons.

Here is So called Pakistani Military think tank's take on it. After 9/11 its really hard to say who is saying the truth or if ordinary people will ever be lucky to hear truth, or be just the victims and onlookers of these brutal attacks on humanity.

For the past many weeks, the biggest story in India was involvement of Indian Military Intelligence officers in orchestrated acts of terrorism against Muslims to create a Hindu-Muslim riot situation as well as to create a justification for war against Pakistan. Many Indian army officers were caught
and Indian Police was forced to work deeper into finding more BJP, Bajrang Dal and RSS terrorists in Indian military and Intelligence setup. This story had created a serious panic in Indian military and their Fascist patrons in Hindu Zionists. Something had to be done to divert the attention of the world and Indian public from acts of terrorism by Hindu Hardliners. .....Then comes the Mumbai Massacre.

Even when the shootings were going on in hotels, Indian media and army were blaming Pakistan for the attacks. The game is clear and sinister. The Indian Intelligence have diverted the global attention towards another issue where they would blame Pakistan for this slaughter and use Barack Obama's doctrine of attacks on Pakistan to encircle Pakistan from both sides. It is such a shame that Pakistani media is not highlighting this issue and is only repeating what Indians want the world to see and
believe.

There is no such group in India as Daccan Mujahideen.

In the coming days, Pakistan should prepare for a high risk threat response as Indians would go to any limit to open another front against Pakistan to divert the local and world attention from their internal fascist elements in Hindu Zionists and military intelligence.
