There are two threads about gay freedom in India but I guess many of us have missed the news of sad incident took place few weeks ago in "Mumbai".
Please do not move this thread to "World Entertainment".

More than 200 slum homes were destroyed and 15 people injured in the blaze, which started at 4am local time on Thursday.
At least 100 firefighters battled for six hours to bring the flames under control as the fire tore through the flimsy shanty homes.

Residents told how gas canisters used for home cooking exploded every few minutes in the intense heat, helping the fire spread and hampering rescue efforts.
Azharuddin's home was directly in the path of the flames before firefighters brought the blaze under control about 30 metres from his house.
"We were woken up very early in the morning to the sound of explosions," said the child star.
"The fire was burning in the sky just behind our home over the other side of the storm drain.
"All the residents of the slums were watching and it was pretty scary for a while.
"But we are all safe and well. No homes in my part of the slum were affected.
Rubina and Azharuddin had been due in London to attend a reception hosted by MP Keith Vaz in the House of Commons but cancelled the trip at the last minute.
According to Mumbai city officials 25 fire engines, 16 water tanks and four ambulances were called to fight the fire.
Two people were taken to the nearby Bhabha hospital in Bandra for emergency treatment.
"My home is not affected by the fire," said Rubina, who played the young Latika in the multi-Oscar winning hit.
The two stars have been offered new homes by Mumbai housing authorities and also by the Jai Ho! Trust set up by Slumdog director Danny Boyle.
Neither Azharuddin, 10, or Rubina, nine, have yet to move to move away from the slums of Garib Nagar.
They are expected to move before the monsoon weather hits Mumbai.
