Did you hear about Pol Pot?

...For all you defenders of of humanity, do you know who Pol Pot was? He killed 1.7 million of his own people and uprooted 2.2 million urban people to rural areas in his desire to turn Cambodia into an independant, agricultural state...If you did, did you do something about it? Did you speak out the way you are against Saddam? At least he's killing the same Kurdish traitors who are now going to kill their own countrymen besides an invading force...Pol Pot emptied entire cities, doctors, scientists, teachers were all herded off to the fields, where were the defenders of humanity then? Because through their leash of media propaganda, the US unleashed mod Muslims and the general rednecks wherever they wanted like trained K-9 units...If the propaganda masters shooed them onto Osama, they ran after Osama spewing whatever their propaganda masters fed them, then the US shooed them onto Iraq, so now they come after Iraq, howling, moaning with rabid madness...Next the propaganda masters will shoo them onto Iran and the mod Muslims will pick up the trail...and so on and so on...

well mod muslims won't fear because they don't have any loved ones back in these muslim countries so they'll just come here and post a few blah blah things as islam is about peace and harmoney. what they often tend to forget is the fact that you have to hit-back. you can't just sit in a corner and preach while others come and kill your people. example is palestine. peace or no peace, jews won't stop killing the palestinians.

Not only did they not do anything about Pol Pot but when he was eventually overthrown by the Vietnamese, the great USA refused to recognise the new government because it was not installed by them but their enemey. The fact that the vietnamese had removed one of the greatest tyrant of the century was neither here nor there. Hypocrites.!!!!

The US used Pol Pot against Vietnam in the same way that it used Saddam against Iran. It knew the widescale human rights abuses being carried out by Pol Pot during this period just as it knew Saddam's human rights abuses.

It just so happened that unlike Iran, Vietnam was able to invade Cambodia and remove Pol Pot, foiling the US aim.

More examples of revisionist history. It may interest inquiring minds to know that the US actually supported the predecessor regime to Pol Pot (Premier Lon Nol). China and Vietnam both aided the Khmer Rouge in deposing Lon Nol.

The Viet Nam and Khmer Rouge friendship didn't last long and Viet Nam invaded Cambodia. Pol Pot's biggest weapons supplier and friend was none other than China. Indeed, China launched a military assault on Vietnam in retaliation for its invasion of Cambodia.
