sheen.. this was a fantastic film of the 90's.. it was filmed mostly in the Uk....so therefore I just had to watch it!!!... Sad story.. Viren ( AK) returns only to find that Pallavi's ( Sri Devi) daughter, Pooja (Sridevi) is the exact image of her mother, as he had seen her on his previous visit. And this time it is young Pooja that is in love with an older Viren.......I remember my mum saying how it was almost like incest when Viren also loves Pooja.. but really it wasnt the case.. its just that a young Viren was in love with Poojas mother who simply was in love with another man so there was absolutely no case of incest!!!! Great film....great script but for me whats memorable is the beauitiful songs. Sri Devi was superb in the potrayal of a young Pooja faling in love with the mature Anil Kapoor and the song....tere sapne ;where she wears that lovely orangy / peachy saree was very entertaining.....!!!! All in all .. this film got my vote!!!!!!!!!!!
.....But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet,
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams...
