The main difference is that the hero in khuda kay liye has screwed understanding of islam and the hero in traitor has the best understanding of islam.....also the later movie hasn't shown a particular group of muslims with a particular origin and looks as terrorist as compare to khuda kay kiye, in which pashtuns were mainly shown as terrorists, in traitor even a secular muslim who drinks and eats pork can be a terrorist.
I totally hated "Traitor". It gives a bad message and makes EVERY Muslim or even Arab looking person a threat. No matter how peaceful, friendly and what not you are, you can be a terrorist in disguise who's waiting to get his orders and end the life of infidels.
